J. Cole Finally Releases New Album ‘The Fall-Off’ — Stream
April 2018 when KOD dropped is when the world first learned of The Fall-Off. Back then, it was just an album in the parenthesis of ‘1985’ but since, we’ve learned so much about it. This is an album that Cole has worked on with the idea that he could be content with it being his final offering to the world. He hasn’t shied away from conveying just how hard he’s pushed himself on it and while that creates some pretty heavy expectations, he seems incredibly confident.
Now, after a decade of work, The Fall-Off is finally out everywhere.
The album is split into two discs, Disc 29 and Disc 39, each one representing Cole going to his hometown at a different stage of his life. He admitted that a second wind of inspiration after the entire Kendrick and Drake beef is what pushed the album to be a two-parter.
