Jason Derulo and Girlfriend Jena Frumes Expecting First Child

Jason Derulo is going to be a dad.

The “Take You Dancing” singer and his model girlfriend, Jena Frumes, are expecting their first child. Derulo made the announcement in an Instagram video on Sunday (March 28).

In the romantic clip, soundtracked by Robin Thicke’s “Lost Without U,” the couple walks hand in hand on the beach in the Bahamas while Derulo caresses and kisses his girlfriend’s pregnant belly. It ends with the words “coming soon” written in the sand.

“Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life,” the father-to-be wrote in the caption.

Frumes also shared a photo of the couple and captioned it “Mom & Dad.”

Derulo, 31, and Frumes, 27, met at the gym right before lockdown and have been together for just over a year. “We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, ‘Aight. Imma go talk to her,’ and the rest is history,” the TikTok star told Page Six.

When asked about the possibility of having children, he responded, “You know, I think I’m getting to that age, you know what I’m saying? So, I don’t know.”
