Kanye West and Drake Concert to Stream Live on Amazon and Twitch

Kanye West’s Free Larry Hoover benefit concert with Drake will stream live on Amazon Music and Prime Video.

The one-night event will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Thursday, Dec. 9. Fans across the globe can stream Kanye’s first headlining show in five years for free on Prime Video starting at 8 p.m. PT, as well as on the Amazon Music app and via the Amazon Music Twitch channel.

The benefit concert was announced last month to raise awareness of the need for prison and sentencing reform, and supporting legal reform and community advocates including Ex-Cons for Community and Social Change, Hustle 2.0, and Uptown People’s Law Center.

Additionally, IMAX will stream the show in select theaters across the U.S. in an exclusive, one-night-only IMAX Live event. Tickets are on sale now.

“We’re extremely proud to be working with Kanye and Drake on this historic concert in support of a cause they are both so passionate about, and to collaborate across Amazon for this epic entertainment event,” said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios.

“Kanye and Drake have spent their careers pushing boundaries and defining culture, and we’re excited to give fans around the world a front row seat to this concert,” added Tim Hinshaw, head of hip-hop and R&B, Amazon Music. “We have made Amazon Music and Prime Video destinations where artists can make their most ambitious ideas a reality–this concert is just the latest example.”

Kanye and Drake squashed their beef and reunited last month in Toronto after Ye proposed a truce and invited Drake to share the stage with him at the request of Larry Hoover and Rap-A-Lot Records founder J Prince.

“Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest,” Ye said.
