Kanye West ‘Annoyed’ by Reports That Kim Kardashian Initiated Divorce

Kanye West wants to set the record straight about his divorce.

Sources tell Page Six that the Yeezy founder is “annoyed” by reports that say Kim Kardashian initiated the divorce, making it appear as though she is leaving him.

Kanye is said to be “super annoyed that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him,” said the source, who also called out the Kardashian family’s “huge spin machine.”

“Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out,” said an insider. “She pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage.”

Kim officially filed for divorce in February after nearly seven years of marriage, but a source said Kanye let her “file first in order to give her dignity.” Earlier this month, Kanye requested joint legal and physical custody of their four children. Neither party is seeking spousal support.

The billionaire rap mogul has supposedly changed all his phone numbers and told Kim she can only contact him through his security. The couple, who has four children, have reportedly stopped talking.

West is moving on and looking for his next relationship. Last week, there were reports that the 43-year-old wants to date “an artist and a creative person,” so “they can speak the same language to each other.” Upon hearing the news, Azealia Banks expressed interest in dating West.
