Kanye West Buys $57 Million Malibu House
Kanye West is moving to Malibooyah.
In the wake of his divorce from Kim Kardashian, the billionaire bachelor has purchased a $57.3 million residence in Malibu. Designed by award-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the Brutalist-inspired home features 4,000 square feet of living space with oceanfront views.
According to Dirt.com, the minimalist beach pad was once listed for $75 million before Kanye bought it in an off-market deal. It becomes the second-highest price paid for a Malibu home this year.
Made of 1,200 tons of poured concrete and 200 tons of steel reinforcement, the three-level structure features three guest bedrooms on the ground floor, with a living room, kitchen, and powder room on the second floor. The top floor contains a penthouse-level bedroom suite and rooftop oceanside terrace.

The house, one of only a handful of Ando-designed homes in the U.S., is about 30 minutes away from the Hidden Hills mansion the DONDA rapper once shared with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, and their four children.
This is the latest addition to Kanye’s real estate portfolio, which includes a $14 million ranch in Cody, Wyoming, a Brutalist-inspired condo in Calabasas, and two minimalist condos in New York City. He also owns more than 300 acres of land in Calabasas, where he built his dome-like homes.
