Key Glock Speaks Out After Young Dolph’s Death
Key Glock is breaking his silence in the wake of Young Dolph’s death.
After deactivating his social media accounts, the rapper returned to Instagram to mourn the loss of his cousin. In a message posted to Instagram Stories on Sunday (Nov. 21), a grieving Glock addressed those who have reached out to him.
“STOP asking me if I’m ok Knowing damn well I ain’t..,” he wrote alongside a broken-heart emoji.

Key Glock is signed to Dolph’s Paper Route Empire label. In 2019, he and Dolph released their collaborative album Dum and Dummer, which was followed by the sequel, Dum and Dummer 2, in March of this year.
Two days before his death, Key Glock helped Dolph hand out turkeys during a Thanksgiving giveaway at a Memphis mall. Dolph also visited the West Cancer Center & Research Institute in Germantown, Tenn., where he showed his appreciation to staff members.
Following his death, Dolph’s longtime partner Mia Jaye shared a touching tribute to the father of her two kids, while friends including Monica, Rick Ross, and Gucci Mane also paid their respects to the late rapper.
Dolph was shot and killed when gunmen opened fire on him at a Memphis bakery on Wednesday (Nov. 17). He was 36. Police are investigating and have located the getaway vehicle that was spotted at the murder scene.
