Megan Thee Stallion Responds to Tory Lanez’ Collaboration with DaBaby
DaBaby has found himself in the middle of the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez drama.
On Tuesday (Jan. 5), Tory took to Instagram to share a photo from an upcoming music video he shot for his unreleased collaboration with DaBaby. “@dababy X TORY LANEZ ……… SONG + VISUALS ON THE WAY,” he captioned the pic.

The photo sparked a wave of backlash for DaBaby for seemingly affiliating with Tory following the shooting involving Megan.
But Meg took to Twitter to defend her friend. “nice try,” she tweeted along with three crying laughing face emojis.

She explained that Tory’s collab with DaBaby was old and was not approved by the “Rockstar” rapper. “That shit was old and not cleared,” she responded to a fan who wrote, “f*ck dababy all 2021.”
Meanwhile, Meg and DaBaby are planning to release a video for their latest collaboration “Cry Baby” off her debut album Good News. “CRYBABY VIDEO dropping soon,” added the Hot Girl.
Prior to “Cry Baby,” Meg and DaBaby collaborated on songs like “Cash Shit” and “Nasty.” DaBaby and Tory have only released one song together, a remix to Jack Harlow’s “WHATS POPPIN.”
Tory dropped his 10-track project Loner last month featuring Lil Wayne, Swae Lee, and Tyga. He has pleaded not guilty to felony assault charges in the July shooting of Megan. If convicted, he faces up to 22 years in state prison.
