MILLII – “Sunday Coffee”

MILLII is a Oklahoma based artist who primarily does Rap/Hip-Hop music infused with Alt-R&B elements but is not afraid to explore other genres with his creativity and his one of a kind cadences & his genius behind his pen.

The thing that’s really unique about MILLII is his uniqueness in his tone, he has the ability to adapt many different styles & genres with the way his voice cascades over production, he’s a “musical Chameleon” in a sense. Another thing about MILLII is his ability to capture that early 2000’s sound in his music that we all love while still being able to make his songs sound modern at the same time. He really knows how to hit the nostalgic cord in your body almost as if he went into a time machine to the 2000’s took musical elements & came back to this era and blended it with today’s sonics and made his sound.

MILLII’s earliest influences musically are Aaliyah, Nelly, Missy Elliott, Lauryn Hill, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Drake, & Bryson Tille, which is not surprising because when you hear his music, you’ll see it’s so hard to put MILLII in a box. MILLII describes his music as the “modern day 2000’s” and says that if you were to mix all of his influences together that he mentioned, then his sound is what you would get.
