Mulatto Addresses 21 Savage Dating Rumors

Mulatto is putting the 21 Savage romance rumors to rest.

Last month, it was reported that the rappers were dating after they were seemingly spotted on vacation in Puerto Rico to celebrate Latto’s 22nd birthday. Fans noticed the similarities between the scenery in Mulatto’s videos and Savage’s friend, leading them to believe that they were staying at the same location and trying to hide their romance.

But according to Mulatto, it’s all cap. During an interview with Wild 94.1, the Queen of Da Souf said there’s no truth to the rumors.

“No,” she laughed when asked if she and the Savage Mode II rapper were a couple. “It’s videos on YouTube of me performing with him at [Atlanta nightclub] Palace. It be real respect.”

The interviewer also brought up fan theories about her wearing a “777” chain (which equals 21), but Mulatto explained that the numbers have nothing to do with her “Pull Up” collaborator. “As if I haven’t been saying 777. 777 is tatted on me,” she said.

However, she’s able to brush off the speculation over her love life. “I be laughing,” said Mulatto, who has also been romantically linked to Memphis MC Key Glock.

One rapper who has won Mulatto’s affection is Nicki Minaj. She credits the Queen for inspiring her to pursue a rap career when she was only eight years old.

“It was just so animated so it captivated me,” she recently told Fat Joe of Nicki’s personality. “That’s what put the icing on the cake. That’s when I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I wanna rap. I wanna be like Nicki.’”
