Report: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Divorce Is ‘Imminent’

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are headed for divorce.

After months of rumors, Page Six reports that “divorce is imminent” for the power couple. Kardashian has reportedly hired divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser, who represented her in her 2013 divorce from Kris Humphries.

“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” says a source. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

Kim hasn’t been seen wearing her wedding ring and the couple did not spend the holidays together. Kanye was at his $14 million Wyoming ranch for Christmas instead of spending it with the Kardashians.

“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,” adds the source.

Kim has helped Kanye deal with his mental health struggles but she is ready to move on. “Now this divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot,” says the source. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy sh*t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

As for Kanye, another source claims that he has grown “uncomfortable and irritated” by the Kardashians’ over-the-top lifestyles and “unbearable” reality show. “[He] is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” says the insider.

Back in July, Kanye claimed that he was trying to divorce Kim and accused her of having an inappropriate relationship with Meek Mill. “I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for ‘prison reform,’” he tweeted.

Page Six claims Kanye “reluctantly” showed up for Kim’s 40th birthday party in Tahiti last October for just one day. “He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t appear in any of their Instagram shots. All he did was bring over the hologram of her father Robert Kardashian, then got out of there as fast as he could,” the source said.

Divorce settlement talks are underway, but Kim and Kanye are still in the process of dividing up their properties including their Calabasas estate, which underwent a multi-million dollar renovation.

“Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her, because that’s where the kids are based and growing up. That is their home,” said the source.

This would be Kim’s third divorce. She was previously married to basketball player Kris Humphries and music producer Damon Thomas.

Kim and Kanye were married in 2014 in Italy and have four children: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, as well as sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 19 months.
