Rhode Island Set to Host the Biggest Awards Show of the Decade with Remi TV
Remi TV is proud to announce the Inaugural Remi TV award show, which will take place on May 18,
2024, at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in Providence. With sponsorships from the POC
Foundation and the United Way, this event will serve as a platform to highlight positive role models who
are making significant contributions in their respective fields but often do not receive the support or
recognition they deserve. This award show is set to be Rhode Island’s biggest event and most
anticipated award show in decades!
Dr. Remi Jones, a world-renowned celebrity, award-winning journalist, and community leader has taken
the initiative to create an award show that recognizes the often-overlooked individuals who are making a
difference in their communities. The inspiration behind the award show came from Dr. Jones’ own
experience attending numerous award galas where the same community leaders were repeatedly
honored. This realization sparked a desire to give the underdogs in the community and creatives a fair
chance to be recognized for their talents.

16 categories from the tri-state area of Boston and Rhode Island, including best DJ, community award,
and humanitarian award among others.

present, all of whom are often unrecognized for the work they do. The award show is a tribute to the
dedication and perseverance of those pushing boundaries and making a difference in their industries. Dr.
