Skitta Skat: The Rising Star from the DMV
The Early Years
Skitta Skat, originally from the DMV area but now calling Suitland, PG County home, discovered his love for music at a young age. Inspired by his older brother, V-Nell, Skitta Skat learned the ropes of writing, performing on stage, and recording in the studio. Together, they performed, acted, and danced in various states under the guidance of Jane Jackson Harley’s Kemet Productions.

As Skitta Skat and his brother continued to hone their skills, they started performing at open mics and shows in the DMV area. Their hard work paid off when they were nominated for “Best Group” at the 2009 DMV Awards and the 2019 DMV Titan Awards, solidifying their place among notable hip-hop artists in the region.
