Summer Walker Responds to Backlash Over Baby Photo

Earlier this week, the “Girls Need Love” singer shared a series of photos of herself holding her infant daughter in her arms while posing in her underwear. However, she made sure to keep her baby’s face hidden from public view, covering it with a leaf emoji.

The post sparked backlash from some of her 3.6 million followers, who asked why she didn’t reveal her daughter’s face, while others took issue with the way she was carrying her child.

“Why she put a loud pack over the baby face lmao,” commented one fan, while another added, “Hold that damn baby neck.”

She also received criticism for the food she was feeding her baby after she shared a photo of a countertop with hemp seeds, mushrooms, and raw honey. “Like girl what the fu**k?!?!?!” wrote one. “Put that titty in that baby mouth.”

On her Galacta Whore account, Summer clapped back at her critics for trying to tell her how to raise her child. “yall: POST THE BABY BITCH WE WANNA SEE! also y’all: roasting a baby who’s face you can’t even see,” she wrote. “lol make it make sense.”

She added, “In conclusion mf’s is weird and I will never post my baby so stop asking.”

In March, Summer gave birth to her first child with producer London On Da Track. At the time, she vowed to never post any photos of the baby online.
