Travis Scott Deletes Instagram to ‘Focus on His Family’

Travis Scott is going off the grid.

The Houston rapper surprised his millions of Instagram followers when he deactivated his account over the weekend after being trolled over his Halloween costume.

However, a source close to the “Sicko Mode” hitmaker tells Page Six that his decision had nothing to do with his Batman costume. Instead, Stormi’s father decided to temporarily disable his Instagram because he is “focusing on his family.”

“Halloween had nothing to do with it,” the source said. “He is focusing on his family and their well-being and wants to influence his fans to do the same instead of being so consumed with social media.”

The source says it was “important” for Travis to take a break from social media during “such a critical time in the world right now.”

There was speculation that he deleted his account after being criticized for his brown Batman costume, which some on social media compared to a cockroach and a flea. On Halloween, Travis shared photos and video of himself emerging from his bat cave and standing alongside his matching brown cars.
