Drake Makes $200K Basketball Trading Card Purchase
Drake has entered the trading card game. A lucrative market that has taken off in recent years, and the 6 God always keeps his ears peeled for potential investment opportunities, especially when it involves something he’s passionate about such as sports here.
Drake took to his Instagram Story to show off his 14-box purchase on Tuesday (March 15) claiming he’s “on a triple logoman hunt.”
ESPN baseball insider Kiley McDaniel provided some context on Drizzy’s latest buy. He explained that each NBA Flawless box contains 10 basketball trading cards, so the 140 cards picked up have a value of over $200,000.
Drake mentions he’s hunting a Triple Logoman, which is new to this year’s set and could set price records. A Logoman Zion Williamson card from last year’s set sold for $233,700: https://t.co/I4EolQtxmK

With Drake being a huge fan of the NBA and a friend of the Philadelphia 76ers owner Michael Rubin, who is a huge advocate for the trading card industry, it’s no surprise to see the Toronto Raptors ambassador try his hand at the game. The trading card market has seen a major boom throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Drizzy can give his rap friends Quavo and Snoop Dogg a call if he wants some more knowledge when it comes to trading cards.
