City Girls Enlist Usher for ‘Party’ Record
City Girls have a big confession.
The Miami duo has enlisted Usher for their next single. JT and Yung Miami revealed the superstar feature while on the red carpet at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
“We got a new single with Usher,” Miami told Billboard.
While they didn’t announce the title, JT described it as a “party record, fun record, cookout record.” “Growing up, big fan of Usher. Can’t wait for everyone to hear the record,” she added.
They didn’t say when it was dropping, only teasing that it is “coming soon.”
In March, the group dropped their latest single, “Top Notch” featuring Fivio Foreign as they ready their first project since 2020’s City on Lock.
They will join Jack Harlow on his “Come Home the Kids See You Tour” this fall. The arena trek kicks off Sept. 6, with stops in Nashville, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, and more, wrapping Oct. 16 in Atlanta.
When asked what fans can expect from their live show, JT said, “A lot of ass shaking.” “It’s gonna go to ratchet, then y’all can calm down,” she joked.
While presenting at the Billboard Music Awards, JT went viral after she appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. However, she dispelled speculation that she was showing too much skin. “I have on black Panties RELAX,” she tweeted.
