However, amidst the industry noise, the creative visionary has continued to push boundaries, particularly through his latest musical endeavors.
At the most recent Louis Vuitton SS27 Fashion Show, Pharrell premiered new musical collaborations with some of modern hip-hop’s most prominent artists: Lil Baby, Quavo, and NBA YoungBoy. The tracks served as the sonic backdrop for the runway presentation, where models navigated a striking set featuring sand and an artificial waterfall structure.
Among the new material, the collaboration with NBA YoungBoy stood out for its high-energy delivery, while the Quavo-assisted track, titled “Haavin,” offered a particularly infectious rhythm. The collaboration with Lil Baby aligned perfectly with the luxury aesthetic of the show, featuring lyrics centered on high-end fashion and success, punctuated by a direct nod to the producer: “this beat came from Pharrell.”
