Kodak Black, Westside Gunn, Lil Durk & More Show Out At Givenchy Paris Fashion Week Show
PARIS, FRANCE – As models walked down a water-soaked runway during Givenchy Paris Fashion Week’s Ready-To-Wear Show, Kodak Black, Westside Gunn, Lil Durk and dozens of other celebrities were spotted off to the side enjoying Wednesday’s (June 22) event.
Tyga, A$AP TyTy, J. Balvin, Rauw Alejandro and AJ Tracey were also in attendance. The show was Givenchy’s first standalone Men’s wear show since Matthew W. Williams took over the brand as creative director in 2020.

While many of the famous attendees have dabbled in fashion before, Westside Gunn has always made high fashion a signature part of his Griselda brand. He attended his first Paris Fashion Week in 2020, an experience that helped shape his critically-acclaimed album Pray For Paris. He told Complex the experience only happened because the late Virgil Abloh personally invited him, and said despite his deep love of European fashion he had previously never been out of the country.
“I never even had a passport before that moment, bro,” Westside said. “I never left the country or nothing. I’m heavy into fashion, so it was an honor man. When I went out there, it was just crazy to sit in the front row at all these shows and get all this love. I’ll never forget it, man. I was so inspired that it just made me want to do this project. That was my first time ever at Fashion Week ever. So it was dope.”
The Griselda co-founder clarified that while he appreciated all the styles, he’s never needed a stylist for his wardrobe.
“I’ve been fly my whole life,” he said. “A lot of people start getting fly once they get record deals and can start affording to buy it. But honestly, I’ve been wearing designer for the last 20 years ago. Like that’s what I do. Even when people wasn’t even wearing designer, I was wearing designer. I had Versace glasses, Gucci, Iceberg, and all that in ’98.”
