NBA Youngboy Drops 'I Don't Talk' Video Following Not Guilty Verdict
NBA YoungBoy is in celebration mode. The 22-year-old rapper just secured a massive legal victory on Friday (July 15) when he was acquitted by a grand jury on federal gun charges he faced in Los Angeles, and he’s ringing in the W by dropping off new tunes for his fans.
“I Don’t Talk” finds YoungBoy taking to the skies and the streets, something seven months ago he could only dream of doing, all while flexing some serious bankroll.
The Issac Garcia-directed visual comes as YoungBoy gears up to drop his forthcoming record The Last Slimeto on August 5. The Baton Rouge rapper revealed in April the album would be a 30-track affair and dropped off the project’s first 11 songs as part of a sampler.
NBA YoungBoy dropped his last solo project, Colors, in January and followed it up with his DaBaby collaborative tape, Better Than You, in March. Despite being on strict house arrest since last October, YoungBoy continued to drop throwaway singles on his YouTube channel throughout the course of his legal trouble.
While the rapper was seen grinning ear-to-ear as a result of his latest victory, NBA YoungBoy isn’t completely out of the woods. He still has to face a separate gun charge in his hometown of Baton Rouge after he was arrested during a September 2020 video shoot. A status conference for the case is scheduled for August 1.
