HipHop Since 1987: Sammy, thanks for taking the time to speak with us. Your music is known for being raw and unapologetic. Can you tell us what drives your creative process?

Sammy Alle: “I dealt with a ton of stuff in my life. From loss, betrayal, and backlash. But now, nothing seemed to bother me anymore. Like me, I don’t give a heck about the haters. Firstly, cause their words about me don’t goddamn matter. They could say some of the most disrespectful, homophobic stuff, and I would just laugh.”

HipHop Since 1987: That’s a really powerful statement. Can you tell us more about what you mean by “haters” and how you deal with negativity?

Sammy Alle: “You can’t faze me if you tried. You are a scared little brat behind a screen talking smack all cause you’re jealous or don’t like me. Well, how about you get a life and go complain about something else for a change.”

HipHop Since 1987: Your music and message are clearly resonating with fans. Can you tell us about your background and what inspired you to start making music?

Sammy Alle: “I roll with my homies and brotha’s who lived in the projects, slums, and the trenches. They WORKED like me to get this high. So keep typing away, you are wasting your time, while I am rolling with the realest rappers y’all have EVER dreamed of chillin’ with.”

HipHop Since 1987: Lastly, what’s next for Sammy Alle? Any upcoming projects or collaborations that you can share with us?

Sammy Alle: “I’ve got a few things in the works, but I’m not ready to announce just yet. Let’s just say that I’m staying focused, staying grindin’, and staying true to myself and my art.”
