2Pac Trends After Jada Pinkett Reveals Intimate Details About Sex Life With Will Smith

The tale of Tupac Shakur and Jada Pinkett stretches back to the 1980s when the two teens met at Baltimore School for the Arts. While Pinkett has always maintained their friendship was strictly plutonic, the court of public opinion begs to differ.

Now married to Will Smith, her husband of over 23 years, Pinkett often trends any time the late Hip Hop legend has a birthday, anniversary or other significant milestone. But in this case, 2Pac and Pinkett became trending Twitter topics after Pinkett revealed some intimate details about her sex life with Smith.

During a recent episode of Red Table Talk, Pinkett and special guest Gwyneth Paltrow were discussing the challenges of maintaining a healthy sex life after being married so long, when Pinkett confessed how “hard” it was for her.

“The thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey,” she said. “We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old. That’s why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know [what you need], especially when it comes to sex. It’s like, ‘Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind.’ That’s a huge pitfall.”

It didn’t take long for Pinkett to address the chatter online. As her name continued to trend, the actress/talk show host fired off a tweet on Wednesday night (October 27) that read in part, “Will and I have NEVER had an issue in the bedroom. Thank you.”

Pinkett and Smith’s marriage has been under heavy scrutiny multiple times in the past, especially after she copped to having an “entanglement” with R&B singer August Alasina in July 2020. With Pinkett’s latest admission, it opened the floodgates for the jokes to fly about her past with 2Pac.

But Smith has had his own share of sexual encounters with other people, at least according to his interview with GQ earlier this year.

“Jada never believed in conventional marriage,” Smith said last month. “Jada had family members that had an unconventional relationship. So she grew up in a way that was very different than how I grew up. There were significant endless discussions about, what is relational perfection? What is the perfect way to interact as a couple?

“And for the large part of our relationship, monogamy was what we chose, not thinking of monogamy as the only relational perfection.”

He added, “We have given each other trust and freedom, with the belief that everybody has to find their own way. And marriage for us can’t be a prison. And I don’t suggest our road for anybody. I don’t suggest this road for anybody. But the experiences that the freedoms that we’ve given one another and the unconditional support, to me, is the highest definition of love.”

Despite the couple’s arrangement, Twitter couldn’t help but drag Smith and bring 2Pac into the conversation. Check out some of the reactions below.
