Cardi B Hits Back At Misogynist Comparisons To Controversial Influencer Andrew Tate
Cardi B has responded to comments made by UFC fighter Jake Shields comparing her to controversial life coach Andrew Tate.
Last Thursday (August 18), Tate was banned from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for breaching hate speech rules, and branded a “threat to young men.”
Shields took to Twitter to defend Tate and blast young girls for looking up to the likes of Cardi or the Kardashian family as their role models.
“People are freaking out about young boys looking up to Andrew Tate but totally fine with young girls looking up to Cardi B and the Kardashians,” the fighter wrote. “Tate’s Main message is stop being lazy and making excuses and go work hard and get in shape and make money.”
He also accused the Grammy-winning rapper of being a drug addict and “fucking random men” while going “through life as a brain dead Moron.” Shields then capped off his rant by dissing rap music which he believes glorifies murder.
“Cardi’s Is go do drugs, fuck random men and go through life as a brain dead Moron. Dozens of rapers [sic] Have songs glorifying murder but Andrew Tate’s the biggest problem?”

Cardi B then hit back in a series of since-deleted tweets over the weekend calling out her positive attributes while distancing herself from anything Tate is associated with.
“I’m married, I don’t smoke weed, I don’t pop pills, I don’t do coke, I’m a mom of two kids, and I do a lot of charity work,” Cardi wrote.
She continued: “But hey, let me put Cardi into it to defend a man who defends misogyny and rape.”
Tate, a former Big Brother contestant and MMA fighter, was previously banned from Twitter for violating its code of conduct in 2017.
In other Cardi B news, the rapper has had her first face tattoo done after contemplating since January whether she should get the ink or done or not.
Last week, footage from tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos and hairstylist Luis Santana showed the leader of the Bardi Gang getting a new red tat done on the left side of her jawline.
Another image surfaced from a fan page showing Cardi sitting next to De Los Santosafter the session. The rapper hasn’t shared the final product on her social pages as of press time.
