Doja Cat Says 'I Fuckin Quit' Over Canceled Festival Backlash – & Gets Kodak Black Response

Brazil – Doja Cat is not enjoying her time performing in South America right now.

After admitting she gave an underwhelming performance at Lollapalooza Brazil on Thursday (March 24), she received backlash from her Paraguayan fans after Doja canceling her set at Asunciónico 2022 earlier in the week without an explanation and is now public enemy No. 1 in the country.

“I don’t think I gave Brazil a good enough show tonight at all and I’m sorry for that but thank you guys for coming out I fucking love you and thank god we got another show tomorrow I promise I’ll do better,” she promised.

Doja Cat quickly reached a boiling point when her replies became flooded with frustrated South American fans. She then pledged to not take another picture with a fan and threatened to “quit” music amid this “fucking nightmare.”

“it’s gone and i don’t give a fuck anymore i fuckin quit i can’t wait to fucking disappear and i don’t need you to believe in me anymore,” she wrote to Twitter. “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and i’m a fucking fool for ever thinking i was made for this this is a fucking nightmare unfollow me.”

After changing her Twitter name to “i quit,” the 26-year-old let fans know she’s completely finished.

“This shit ain’t for me so I’m out,” Doja continued. “Y’all take care.”

According to TMZ, reps for Doja Cat confirmed that the Planet Her rapper is still planning on performing in Brazil on Friday night (March 25) and is “looking forward to it.”

Following her rant, she did receive some support from Kodak Black, who wants to make sure he gets the chance to collaborate with Doja Cat before she did happen to hang up her mic for good.

“Doja Cat Bet Not Quit Musik B4 We Do A Song Together,” he wrote.

Doja Cat is booked and busy for 2022. She’s expected to be an opener on The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour this summer.
