Gunna Drops 'Banking On Me' Video From Behind Bars
Even from behind bars, Gunna is still supplying his fans with his art. The Incarcerated YSL rhymer returned on Wednesday (June 15) to deliver a visual to DS4EVER deluxe edition track “Banking On Me.”
In the self-directed clip, Gunna shows off his life of luxury trading in different sports cars, bachelor pads and different women throughout the opulent video. One of the models seen getting cozy with Gunna is actually Rick Ross’ ex Lira Galore.
She’s been vocal in calling for Gunna and Thugger’s freedom on Twitter.
“Bankin on me video outttt I look fire , bye,” she wrote. “Free Gunna Duke Yak Slime.”

Gunna was denied bond in May and will remain in jail until his trial begins in January 2023. He penned a letter to his fans earlier this week reaffirming his innocence in the RICO case.
“For now, I don’t have my freedom. But I am innocent,” he wrote. “I am being falsely accused and will never stop fighting to clear my name! The picture being painted of me is ugly and untrue. My fans know I love to celebrate life, I love my family, I love travel, I love music, I love my fans. I have all faith that God will grant me justice for the purity in my heart and the innocence of my actions.”

Gunna is currently facing one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Prosecutors allege that the “Pushin P” rapper is a “documented gang member” and he and Young Thug were calling shots for YSL.
Gunna and Young Thug were arrested in May alongside 26 other YSL associates as part of an 88-page indictment. The 56-count indictment includes charges of violating the RICO Act, murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault and more.
