During 50 Cent’s farewell tour, the “Wanksta” rapper knew he had to give his home a night to remember. On August 9 at the Barclays Center, 50 performed timeless classics such as “What Up Gangsta,” “If I Can’t,” and of course “In Da Club.” Adding to his spectacular performance, he awed the crowd by bringing an abundance of surprise guests.

First, 50 brought out DaBaby, where he performed hit songs like “Suge”, “Shake Sumn” and contributed to Pop Smoke’s tribute by rapping his verse on “Thief in the Night.” Subsequently, A Boogie wit da Hoodie made an appearance, making the crowd go wild. Playing bangers such as “Look Back at It” and “Drowning”, the audience lit up with excitement and was now yearning for more.

Afterwards, 50 played more songs like “Candy Shop” and “Just a Lil Bit.” Following 50’s electrifying stage presence, he then brought out Moneybagg Yo to perform, hyping up the crowd even more. By this point, the audience didn’t know what to expect, but knowing 50, he always has a few tricks up his sleeve to make the fans go wild!

He then gave Jeremih the stage, performing his 2010 banger “Down On Me,” featuring 50 himself. After a jaw-dropping performance from the Chicago native, Yonkers legend Jadakiss made a surprise appearance, making the audience go crazy! But if this isn’t enough to honor this legendary tour, then this one surprise guest will do the trick: J. Cole! When Cole came on stage, the entire stadium screamed and cheered like there was no tomorrow. He performed his timeless hit “No Role Modelz.” Thenceforth, Cole made a special announcement: “Can I say this before I move off stage?” he began. “If y’all don’t make some noise for one of the greatest n****s to ever do this sh*t, 50 muthaf*****’ Cent, Curtis Jackson. Get Rich or Die Tryin’ the best album of all time. I don’t give a f*** what you talking about, n***a! “It’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ at No. 1 and it’s Thriller at No. 2, and I love Michael Jackson. But I promise y’all that, Curtis Jackson, 50 Cent, we love you my n***a, for real.”

Other surprise artist appearances include Flo-Rida, Yung Bleu, Tony Yayo, and Uncle Murda. This concert was definitely a primitive moment in hip-hop history, and what better way to celebrate 50 years of the genre than seeing the 50 Cent Farewell Tour? If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, grab it while you still can!
