Jamie Foxx was recently hospitalized after medical complications, according to his family.
His daughter, Corrine, shared a statement via Instagram asking for prayers following the scare. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement read. “The family asks for privacy during this time.”
A spokesperson for Foxx also told CNN when asked about more details,“nothing more, at this time, than what was posted” as Corrine didn’t go into many details surrounding the health scare.
