Kanye West & Kendrick Lamar's 'No More Parties In L.A.' Goes Platinum
Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar’s “No More Parties In L.A.” has officially been certified platinum. The plaque was awarded to Ye on Wednesday (May 4) along with numerous other accolades, including that his Watch The Throne smash “Ni**as In Paris” was now 9x platinum.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) also awarded the Yeezy mogul a gold plaque for his 2004 track “Family Business.” Hitboy took to Instagram to celebrate his Watch The Throne cut going 9x platinum and wished for one more million.
“1 more million and this will be my second diamond plaque,” he wrote. “Sicko Mode was my first.”

The Travis Scott and Drake collab achieved diamond status back in 2020. The song has also passed a whopping 1.2 billion streams on Spotify as well as 735 million views of the music video on YouTube.
If “Ni**as In Paris” were to ever achieve diamond status, it would be the second diamond plaque for Kanye West. Def Jam announced last October that “Stronger” had been certified diamond by the RIAA after surpassing 10 million sales in the U.S., nearly 14 years after it dropped.
