Kanye West Reportedly Wants Treatment At ‘Luxury’ Facility Following Social Media Blitz

Kanye West reportedly wants to be better for his family. After pulling out of his headlining performance at Coachella and skipping the 2022 Grammys where he took home trophies for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, the 44-year-old mogul is reportedly seeking treatment in a luxury facility, according to Page Six.

A source close to Ye told the outlet, “West’s team has been looking at treatment facilities for him” and “he wants to enter a behavioral treatment center to be a better human and a better dad. Kanye hasn’t agreed to a particular place yet because he is worried for his privacy and wants the place to be in a beautiful setting with a luxury component.”

The locations Ye is reportedly considering are located in Arizona, Thailand or Bali.

The news comes less than a week after Ye reportedly told his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, he wanted to “get help” following public harassment of her boyfriend Pete Davidson via several social media posts, a music video depicting an animated Davidson being buried alive and decapitated and posting private conversations between the two on social media.

“For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better,” a source told Page Six

Amid cracking Forbes’ billionaire list for 2022, Ye has mainly stayed off of social media and out of the public eye. His Instagram account has been scrubbed. Even after performing a full set in Los Angeles last December in honor of incarcerated Gangster Disciples founder Larry Hoover, is comfortable walking away from an $8.5 million payday for performing both weekends of Coachella.

Following Ye’s departure from the festival, organizers announced The Weeknd would be taking his place and out of principle, asked for the same booking fee Ye received.
