Lil Uzi Vert doesn’t just cook up some fire in the studio, he does in the kitchen also — that’s if his girlfriend’s latest Instagram post is anything to go by.
While cheffing up a meal on the East Coast for City Girl JT on Thursday night (September 29), Uzi nearly set the kitchen ablaze.
While a bright flame emanated from the frying pan, the Philly native kept his cool and just calmly watched until the fire went out and he could resume dinner duties. JT couldn’t believe her eyes as she snapped a photo of Uzi seemingly not even reacting to the flame in front of him.
“No y’all his mood really didn’t change, he watched it go out & all,” she wrote. The original picture posted by the City Girls rapper now has more than 200,000 likes on Twitter.

Uzi and JT avoided disaster and the meal ended up somehow being a success as she posted another pic with their shrimp tacos spread with taco shells, shrimp, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream.
Outside of cooking, Lil Uzi Vert had himself quite the eventful week around the tri-state area. He performed at Rolling Loud NYC last weekend and made guest appearances during Chief Keef and Nicki Minaj‘s sets.
He also performed at 42 D’OR and hung out at Harbor nightclub with the likes of Meek Mill, Future, Lil Baby, Cardi B, Offset and more. The “Money Longer” rapper even showed up to Monday Night Football at Metlife Stadium for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants game.
On the music side, Uzi continues to tease The Pink Tape, which Don Cannon has confirmed will be helmed by the Generation Now co-founder and contain no features.
“Cannon’s been back in the studio with Vert…they worked on the most recent project together,” DJ Drama recently told the Rory & Mal Podcast. “We’ve been talking to Vert, consistently, for the last six, seven, eight months. … It’s dope. It’s a good feeling. What we went through, it became public…it happens between family.”
