Man Accused Of Killing Jordan Neely On Subway Train Turns Himself In To Authorities

There is finally some justice being done for Jordan Neely.
The 24-year-old marine, Daniel Penny, who put a 30-year-old mentally ill homeless man, Neely in a fatal chokehold on a New York City subway earlier this month will face second-degree manslaughter charges.
As reported on the NY Post, Daniel is expected to be charged in a criminal complaint with second-degree manslaughter according to the report. Official conformation on the charges will occur during the arraignment which is expected Friday afternoon (May 12).
“We cannot provide any additional information until he has been arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court, which we expect to take place (Friday),” Manhattan District Attorney’s Office said on Thursday.
Penny’s attorneys said they are confident he will be “fully absolved of any wrongdoing.”
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office had been investigating the May 1 encounter that left Jordan unconscious on the floor of an F train. Jordan Neely’s death was ruled a homicide according to the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner
Penny has turned himself into police according to CNN.
