Master P Announces He's Throwing Birthday Party For 5-Month-Old Shot In The Head
Louisville, KY – The school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday (May 24) that left 19 children and two teachers dead has rocked the nation. With so much turmoil bleeding into national headlines, Master P is taking a moment to do some good.
On Thursday (May 26), the No Limit Records CEO shared a photo of himself holding 1-year-old Ocean Robertson, who was shot in the head when she was just five months old. The Louisville, Kentucky-born child is still in the hospital recovering from her injuries five months after the harrowing incident.
“Look at my beautiful No Limit Little Soldier Ocean,” he wrote in the caption. “She’s been through it all but she’s still here.#GODisgood she’s recovering from a gun shot wound to her head. It’s time to save our kids they are our future. Join our movement #FutureHealers #502 #WeallWegot Salute Christopher 2x.”

Master P also committed to throwing Robertson a party for her second birthday along with his son Hercy Miller.
“Ocean Robertson is a testimony, not a tragedy,” he wrote in a separate post. “The two year old Louisville shooting victim is recovering like a No Limit Soldier. My son @hercymiller and I will be throwing her a birthday party on June 30th. Salute Future Healers program and Christopher 2x. #502 We all We Got #GODisgood #Saveourkids Senseless violence.”

Robertson was struck by gunfire on December 5, 2021 while in a car with her mother, sibling and a driver by the intersection of Dr. W.J. Hodge and West Oak streets in Louisville’s West End. Her mother, Fa’Quansa Sha’Georgia Ancrum, was killed, while Robertson and the driver escaped unscathed.
A Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officer arriving to the scene heard a “slight moan” from the baby and began performing CPR before she was rushed to the hospital. Police believe she’s the youngest person in Louisville to survive a shooting in recent memory.
“She looks good on the outside, but inside…” her grandmother Sherry Ancrum said. “At five months, you take a bullet to the right side of your head? C’mon now.”
While speaking to WDRB, Robertson’s aunt called the little girl “the real No Limit solider,” while referring to her as a “fighter.” Robertson has neurological damage and often suffers seizures, and she can’t hold a bottle or crawl. She also requires a specialized stroller and someone by her side 24 hours a day. Ancrum’s murder remains unsolved.
