Megan Thee Stallion Explains 'Plan B' Is Just Her 'Venting' Over Past Relationships
Megan Thee Stallion debuted a new track at Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival earlier this month, which many assumed was a diss aimed Tory Lanez.
“You a fuck n-gga/Still can’t believe I used to fuck with ya,” she rapped over a sample of Jodeci’s 1995 “Freek’n You” remix featuring Wu-Tang Clan. “Poppin’ Plan Bs ’cause I ain’t plan to be stuck with ya/Bam, I see you still kick’ it with them opp bitches/I’m the only reason your groupie ass got bitches/All them hoes wanna be like me/Bitch, most likely only fuckin’ you to spite me.”
The Mike Dean-mixed cut was officially delivered on Friday (April 22) with the title “Plan B.” But according to Megan, it wasn’t aimed at anyone specific. After Megan was asked about the inspiration behind the song on Twitter, she replied, “I was just venting abt experiences I’ve had in relationships I’ve been in the past.”

A Tory Lanez diss track from Megan Thee Stallion wouldn’t be out of the question. After all, the two have been embroiled in a contentious legal battle since she accused him of shooting her in July 2020. Lanez was remanded back to jail during a court hearing for violating one of the conditions of his release on April 5. The judge determined he’d disobeyed the court by subtweeting Megan Thee Stallion in February.
“Plan B” includes a line about “dick don’t run me,” which could be interpreted as a response to Lanez’s controversial tweet that landed him back in jail, “Good dick had me fucking 2 best friends … and I got caught … that’s what I apologized 4…it’s sick how U spun it though.”
Days after posting $350,000 in bail, Lanez resurfaced with a song called “Mucky James” in which appeared to address their court case against judge’s orders, something he denied.
