Megan Thee Stallion Giving Back To Young Girls And Women With Joy Is Our Journey Tour

Megan Thee Stallion’s Pete and Thomas Foundation has announced it’s joining forces with Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium for its inaugural Joy Is Our Journey Dream Bus Tour.

The free festival will start in Atlanta on August 20 and will stop in six other spots before concluding in Birmingham, Alabama on September 16 and 17 at the Black Girls Dream Conference.

Catering to young Black girls and gender-fluid youth from the ages of 12 to 24, each stop on the Joy Is Our Journey Dream Bus Tour will also include interactive workshops and programs focused on mental health, wellness, arts and culture, beauty, S.T.E.M., beauty, entrepreneurship and dream-building.

“I’m really excited to have The Pete and Thomas Foundation partner with the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium on this special initiative,” Megan Thee Stallion said in a press release sent to HipHopDX. “We both share the same goals – to empower our young Black women, give them the resources to succeed, and help them pursue their personal and professional dreams.”
