Pusha T Announces New Album Title & North American Tour
Pusha T has officially announced the title of his new album. On Wednesday (April 6), the Virginia Beach MC took to Twitter to reveal his upcoming fourth studio effort is called It’s Almost Dry.
What’s more, King Push accompanied the news with a second announcement: he’s hitting the road this summer on the aptly-titled It’s Almost Dry Tour. “Album title: IT’S ALMOST DRY,” he tweeted. “Phase one of the tour coming to a city near you… TIX GO ON SALE FRIDAY 4/8.”
The opening leg of Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry Tour kicks off in Seattle on May 29 and wraps up in Philadelphia on June 23. He’ll sweep through cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York and Atlanta along the way.

After kicking things off with the Kanye West and 88-Keys-produced “Diet Coke” in February, Pusha T continued his It’s Almost Dry rollout on Wednesday with the release of his latest single, “Neck & Wrist,” featuring JAY-Z and Pharrell.
Push and Hov’s second collaboration following 2016’s “Drug Dealers Anonymous,” the track finds the slingers-turned-spitters trading esoteric drug lines and slick, sneering rhymes over icy production from Skateboard P.
JAY-Z reserves a few bars for Friday actor Faizon Love, who claimed he lied about being a “drug lord” in a 2020 VladTV interview, as well as critics who say he’d be nowhere if Biggie hadn’t been killed.
“The phase I’m on, love, I wouldn’t believe it either/I’d be like, ‘JAY-Z’s a cheater’/I wouldn’t listen to reason either/All I know is he’s a felon, how is he sellin’?” he raps, before adding, “They like, ‘If BIG was alive, Hov wouldn’t be in his position/If BIG had survived, y’all would have got The Commission’/Hov was gon’ always be Hov/It ’twas the universe will ’cause Allah said so, and now I’m here.”
With Kanye West and Pharrell divvying up the production duties between themselves, Pusha T is confident It’s Almost Dry will reign supreme over every other rap album in 2022.
“The album of the muthafucking year is coming,” he declared in a recent interview with Complex. “I’m on some one thousand percent rap superhero shit, man .. You know me, I have to reinvent myself. I just have to reinvent my greatness.”
The former Clipse MC has yet to announce a release date for It’s Almost Dry, but it’s likely it will drop before his tour gets underway in late May. German multimedia retailer CeDe.de recently listed the album for an April 8 release on its website, although that date has yet to be confirmed.
Pusha T‘s last solo release came in 2018 with DAYTONA, which was produced entirely by Kanye West and featured guest spots from Kanye, Rick Ross and 070 Shake. The lean, seven-track project debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
