Roddy Ricch Gives Update On Long-Awaited 'Feed Tha Streets 3' Project
Fans expected Roddy Ricch’s second studio album, LIVE LIFE FAST, to be an instant classic, but it wasn’t even close to that. Many were left underwhelmed with the 18-track album and let their voices be heard. Roddy caught wind of all the criticisms and is bound to change those opinions.
On Wednesday (December 29), Roddy Ricch took to his Twitter account to announce a new project amid all the commotion surrounding LIVE LIFE FAST. Roddy felt that people were second-guessing his musical abilities, and he was not having it.
“FTS 3 comin 2022, n-ggas playin with my top,” Roddy tweeted.

The project in question would be Roddy’s long-awaited mixtape, Feed The Streets 3. Roddy’s beloved mixtape series introduced fans to the Compton native, and he’s been teasing the third installment since last year with fans buzzing at a since-deleted tweet he issued out.
“Been on all feed tha street vibes,” Roddy tweeted in December 2020.
“The Box” rapper pushed the needle further in February by showing off a new tattoo he got of the name of his mixtape series. But that would be the only teaser fans would get for a while as Roddy was putting in work on Live Life Fast.
Roddy’s tweet on Wednesday (December 29) makes a lot of sense when you take into account LIVE LIFE FAST‘s disappointing sales numbers. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, moving only 62,000 album-equivalent units. In comparison, Roddy’s first studio album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, debuted at No. 1 and moved 101,000 album-equivalent units.
HipHopDX gave LIVE LIFE FAST a 2.9 out of 5 in the official review. According to the article, “LIVE LIFE FAST finds [Roddy] scratching the surface of what he’s proved himself capable of. The hooks are uninspired, raps mediocre and beats don’t hold a candle to his debut.”
