Prayers up.

The longtime assistant of Floyd Mayweather, Markikit “Kitchie” Laurico was laid to rest after suddenly getting ill. The Jasmine Brand reports, her family wrote online, “At the behest of Kitchie’s parents-private/immediate family homegoing services recently took place.”

Last month, they confirmed the tragic news with an online post. It read, “On March 31, 2023, our brilliant star Kitchie abandoned the physical garment…the angels of Thy loving-kindness descended successively upon her and have ascended her to the spiritual world…We are grateful for your patience and honoring our privacy…With humility, The siblings and parents of Kitchie Laurico.”

The cause of death isn’t known. 10 days before she passed, she wasn’t feeling well and expressed that to her circle. They advised her to stay on bed rest and take vitamins.

The article also points out Kitchie was Floyd’s marketing manager. After proving her work ethic, she was trusted to manage all aspects of Floyd’s life. He hasn’t spoken publicly on the matter.

Story devolving…

Our hearts and prayers are with Kitchie’s family and friends at this time.
