A big moment for the award winning International Film Producer and Screenwriter. The film he wrote produced in Nigeria “Dangerous Silence”  won 3 awards at Best Shorts Competition in La Jolla , California. One of them is the Best Script/ Writer for Ariel Lavi. In addition, the film won at the festival Best Dramatic Impact, and Best Film Short.

The film won 16 awards  at film festivals so far. 

It was screened at Golden State Film Festival and Silicon Beach Film Festival at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, one of the most iconic Theaters in the Festival . It was nominated th19 Abuja International Film Festival- one of the famous film festivals in Nigeria.

The film tells about Lila, a 18 year old that is sexually exploited by Chuimbo and Gathee while having sex for a fee . Gathee afraid to come against Chuimbo . Eventually Gathee will overcome the fear and fight but it will be too late. 

Best Shorts Competition is a special film festival in the film industry.Attracting both powerhouse companies and talented filmmakers and an international film festival. Their awards winners have won Oscars, Emmy and so on. 

“It’s a big moment to win an award in La Jolla, California but I want to win more. It isn’t enough”, Lavi said”. 

 Ariel won  producers and screenwriters all over the world toward the award . His films won 118 awards at film festivals. Dangerous Silence proves it’s an amazing film with a high level of crew.
