Ciara and Russell Wilson Walk Out of Super Bowl Party During Future Performance
Ciara and Russell Wilson made a quick exit at a party where Future was performing.
The superstar couple was in attendance when Drake hosted a Super Bowl party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Saturday night (Feb. 12). During his show, the Toronto rapper surprised the crowd by bringing out Ciara’s ex.
“I had to ask a favor from my favorite person to ever share the stage with me,” Drake said before his “Life Is Good” collaborator emerged to perform “F**k Up Some Commas.”
That’s when Ciara and Russell booked it. According to TMZ, the couple abruptly exited the party while Drake was announcing Future as his surprise guest.
Ciara shares a 7-year-old son, Future Zahir, with Future. Their engagement ended in August 2014 amid a messy breakup and custody battle, which played out on social media. Ciara began dating the Seattle Seahawks quarterback in early 2015 before marrying him the following year.
It’s unclear where Ciara and Future stand, but based on her reaction after Future showed up, there may still be issues between the former couple.
