A breakdown from ChartMasters shows that Drake has accumulated 35,704,203,269 streams as a lead artist, while his streams as a featured artist amount to 14,297,795,559. The total sum puts him at 50,001,998,828, nearly 2 million over the 50 billion mark.
Taking to Instagram, Drake reacted to his streaming record by posting the stat and sharing an upside down face emoji.
This is the latest achievement for Drizzy, who was Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the 2010s. He dominated the decade with a whopping 40 top 10 hits, seven of which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. He also holds the record for most entries ever on the Hot 100 with 208.
It’s been nearly three years since Drake released his last studio album, 2018’s Scorpion, but more music is on the way. His long-awaited sixth album, Certified Lover Boy, is due early this year.
