Iggy Azalea Plans to Take Break From Music After Next Album
It’s the End of an Era for Iggy Azalea.
The Aussie rapper is taking a break from music following the release of her next album. Taking to Twitter, Iggy announced that she plans to take a few years to explore other creative projects “beyond music.”
“End of an Era is so special to me because after I drop my album next month iam going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music,” she tweeted. “I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”
Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing!

She didn’t say exactly what she plans to do next, but she hopes her fans will continue to support her. “Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing!”
But first, Iggy is set to release her new album End of an Era in August. “I really love this album and I just want my fans to enjoy this with me,” she added.
The project has already spawned the single “Iam The Stripclub.” In April, she released a pair of tracks, “Brazil” and “Sip It” featuring Tyga.
Before her musical hiatus, Iggy will hit the road with Pitbull on his “I Feel Good Tour,” which kicks off Aug. 20.
