Jack Harlow Previews New Song Sampling Fergie’s ‘Glamorous’

Jack Harlow is getting a taste of the glamorous life.

As he gears up for his new album, the Grammy-nominated rapper is previewing a brand new song that features a familiar sample. Over Fergie’s 2007 hit “Glamorous,” Harlow shares some inspirational words.

“You can do it too, believe it,” he raps before Fergie sings the hook from her chart-topping hit off her 2006 debut album The Dutchess.

Harlow shared a video of himself rapping along to the Fergie-sampled song in the studio. The untitled track could appear on his highly-anticipated album Come Home the Kids Miss You, due May 6.

“My new shit is much more serious,” he told Rolling Stone of the follow-up to his 2020 debut Thats What They All Say. “Right now, my message is letting muh’fu**ers know I love hip-hop, and I’m one of the best in my generation. You can’t do that with nonchalant, like, ‘Eeey, I got the bitches,’ in clever ways over and over again. I got to dig deeper this time.”

Last month, Harlow dropped the album’s lead single “Nail Tech,” and there’s more to come. “It’s probably my least favorite song on the album,” he said.

On Sunday, he will join Lil Nas X to perform their chart-topping hit “Industry Baby” at the Grammys in Las Vegas.
