Julia Fox Opens Up About ‘Instant Connection’ with Kanye West

Kanye West and Julia Fox are moving full steam ahead with their relationship.

Less than a week after meeting, the new couple has already done their first photo shoot together for Interview magazine. The Uncut Gems star penned a short essay about Ye and shared a series of photos from one of their first dates.

“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection,” Fox wrote in her letter, titled “Date Night.” “His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night.”

After meeting in Miami, the two flew to New York City to see Slave Play on Broadway. After the show, they dined at one of Fox’s favorite restaurants, Carbone, and Ye surprised Julia with a hotel room filled with clothes.

“I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes,” she said. “It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!”

In photos, Ye can be seen dressing Fox from racks of designer clothes. She models his fashions as he looks on with a drink in hand. The two even shared an intimate moment, with Julia sitting on top of Ye as they made out on the floor of the hotel suite.

The 31-year-old actress gushed about their budding romance, adding, “Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride.”

In other Kanye-related news, he announced that he is joining forces with Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia on a project called Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga.

“It is a vision come true to work with Gap and Demna, the creative director of Balenciaga, to make incredible product available to everyone at all times,” Ye told Vogue.
