K. Michelle Says ‘No One Can Outrap Nicki Minaj’

K. Michelle is giving Nicki Minaj her flowers.

The R&B songstress is sharing her appreciation for the trailblazing rapper, who turns 38 today. While going live on Instagram, K. Michelle explained why Nicki remains the queen of rap.

“No one can outrap Nicki Minaj,” she said. “I’ve been listening to a lot of the new rappers. They don’t have no cadences, they don’t have no animation. They don’t know how to flip it up, they stay on the same beat.”

She declared, “Like no one outraps Nicki Minaj, period.”

The love for Nicki continued on social media. In honor of her birthday on Tuesday (Dec. 8), the new mom received tributes from fans and family including her mother, Carol Maraj, who reflected on the birth of her daughter.

“On this night, 38 years ago, I cherished every moment, for it would be the last night you would hear my heart beat from the inside and tomorrow would be me seeing my heartbeat on the outside,” she said. “The joy of being able to hold my baby girl took over and I couldn’t wait to meet you. I think you wanted to meet me too because you came bright and early.”

Nicki’s celebrity friends including Beyoncé, Mulatto, Monica, Ellen DeGeneres, and Winnie Harlow also shared messages for the birthday girl, who recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut album Pink Friday.
