Machine Gun Kelly Covers Frank Ocean’s ‘Swim Good’
Machine Gun Kelly is diving in with a Frank Ocean cover.
The newly-engaged rocker puts his spin on the R&B singer’s “Swim Good,” the latest in his series of covers. MGK plays guitar while delivering a grungy rendition of the 2011 Nostalgia, Ultra single.
He even adds his own lyrics. “I’m drowning in your holy water / Hold me under longer / Hold this rib that I gave you / Just don’t pierce my under armor,” he sings while confronting his demons. “Fashion killer / Look inside, you can see the coffins / The cane ables me to function / Nights when my body stoppin’.”
This is the latest cover from the “bloody valentine” singer, who has also remade Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain,” Oasis’ “Champagne Supernova,” and Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes.”
Earlier this month, MGK announced that he and his girlfriend Megan Fox were engaged after he proposed in Puerto Rico.
