Rae Sremmurd Returns with ‘Sremm4Life’ Single ‘Denial’

The Black Beatles are back.

After teasing Sremm4Life, Rae Sremmurd returns with the lead single off their first album in four years. On “Denial,” the duo of Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi serenades the ladies with their melodic flow.

“I’ve seen so many fairytale loves go bad / I’ve seen so many say they’ll never love again,” sings Swae. “I must confess, I ain’t never loved a girl like this / It’s worth a try / You in denial.”

The video, which was shot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, finds the duo soaking up the vibrant scene while flirting with women on the beach.

“Denial” arrives ahead of Rae Sremmurd’s long-awaited album Sremm4Life, the fourth installment in their SremmLife series, which began in 2015. It was followed by 2016’s SremmLife 2 and 2018’s triple album SR3MM, which included Swae Lee’s solo debut Swaecation and Jxmmi’s solo album Jxmtro.

Swae also recently teamed up with Diplo on “Tupelo Shuffle” off the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, which they performed at Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.
