CHITO RANA$ DROPS “DEAD OR ALIVE” MIXTAPE AND “REALLY WIT IT” VIDEO
Emerging as Northern California’s hottest rising star, Sacramento-based Mexican-American rapper Chito Rana$ unleashes a brand new mixtape entitled Dead Or Alive.
To celebrate the arrival of the project, he just shared a captivating video for the single “Really Wit It”.
A thick bass line thumps through skittering 808s on the track as he delivers each bar with clarity, confidence, and conviction. He warns, “I ain’t gonna stop until my last breath,” and makes a proclamation, “In the North, they calling me the King.” The accompanying visualizer offers an intimate vignette into his world. It intercuts footage of Chito Rana$ in the studio surrounded by his boys with shots of ominous highway signs and exteriors of a state prison.
He unveiled Dead Or Alive this morning to commemorate the one-year anniversary of his brother Jali$co’s tragic death due to gun violence. This loss only inspired Chito Rana$ to go harder as evinced by the project. Throughout fourteen tracks, it highlights his signature and seamless balance of Spanish and English bars with no shortage of attitude and intensity.
