50 Cent Teams Up With DJ Envy For 'Property Players' Reality Series
50 Cent is continuing his remarkable run in television by joining forces with DJ Envy on an upcoming reality series on the A&E network called Property Players.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the unscripted show will follow DJ Envy and real estate entrepreneur Caesar Pina as they manage their family-run property company.
Viewers will be taken behind the scenes as the crew flip houses for large profits, while mentoring other celebrities and their communities about real estate investment.
Property Players will be produced by 50 Cent’s G-Unit Films and Television banner, with Fly on the Wall Entertainment and Lionsgate TV also on board. A&E Networks currently hold the worldwide distribution rights to the series.
DJ Envy began his journey into the real estate market in 2018 with Pina, who learned about the business while serving time in federal prison. Together, the two invested in several properties, flipped homes and shared their knowledge with just about anyone who listened.
50 Cent, meanwhile, recently announced his partnership with STARZ has come to an end. The Queens, New York native launched his successful Power franchise under the network, along with the burgeoning BMF series and its accompanying docuseries.
50 is reportedly fielding offers from several companies looking to team up with him on the next chapter of G-Unit Films and Television. Even though the STARZ deal is finished, Power is still cooking on the network with Power Book III: Raising Kanan in the midst of its second season. BMF‘s upcoming season two will premiere in January 2023.
The Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper is looking to expand his business portfolio even further. According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, 50 Cent recently filed a series of trademarks through his NYC Vibe, LLC for the rights to “Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.”
He plans to produce even more TV shows, movies and documentaries while also launching an online casino and opening restaurants.
