Anderson .Paak & Timbaland Connect For 'Jewelz' Single
After teasing the record for fans months ago on social media, Anderson .Paak has finally delivered the full version of his Timbaland-produced “Jewelz” single.
The track was released Tuesday (October 6), and arrives just one day before its accompanying music video is set to premiere. In an Instagram post, the California native celebrated its release and asked fans to return the love.
“IM A MAN OF MY WORD!” he wrote. “NOW I NEED YALL TO RUN THIS UP AND MAKE IT GO PLATINUM IN AN HOUR. JEWELZ PROD BY THE KING TIMBALAND IS FINALLY OUT EVERYWHERE!!! DROP A [diamond emoji] IF ITS EVERYTHING YOU DREAMED OF!!”

.Paak’s last body of work was April 2019’s Ventura. The effort was his fourth studio album and featured appearances from the likes of music legends like André 3000, Smokey Robinson, Lalah Hathaway, Brandy and even the late Nate Dogg.
The “Tints” singer scrubbed his Instagram clean in preparation for the release of “Jewelz,” and his account now features just three posts promoting the new song. It will likely lead in to a new project, though nothing official has been announced just yet.
The release comes a few weeks after .Paak’s appearance on “YUUUU,” a new Busta Rhymes single that’s slated to live on the rap legend’s forthcoming album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God.
