Eminem’s ‘Music to Be Murdered By – Side B’ Makes Chart Debut

Shady’s back in the top 10.

Eminem’s Music to Be Murdered By jumps from No. 199 to No. 3 on the Billboard 200 after the surprise Side B reissue on Dec. 18. The 16-track deluxe edition, which features Dr. Dre, Ty Dolla $ign, and Skylar Grey, arrives with 94,000 equivalent album units, of which 33,000 comprise album sales.

Following its surprise release in January, the original 20-track Music to Be Murdered By debuted at No. 1 on the chart. For tracking purposes, Billboard combines all versions of the album, new and old.

Taylor Swift’s Evermore holds at No. 1 for a second week with 169,000 equivalent album units, while Paul McCartney’s McCartney III bows at No. 2 with 107,000 units.

Holiday albums occupy six spots in the top 10 this week, thanks to a surge in seasonal streams. Mariah Carey’s 1994 album Merry Christmas jumps 10-5 (60,000), while Nat King Cole’s The Christmas Song reaches a new high at No. 6 with 60,000 units.

Lil Durk’s The Voice makes its entry at No. 46. The album was released on a non-traditional Thursday, accounting for only one day of tracking on the Jan. 2, 2021-dated chart.
