Tristan ‘Mack’ Wilds Marries Christina Hammond

Tristan “Mack” Wilds is a married man.

“The Wire” alum and his longtime girlfriend Christina Hammond secretly tied the knot last month. According to E! News, the Dec. 17 ceremony was intimate, with just the couple’s 1-year-old daughter, Trystan, and their parents on Zoom.

“Our wedding was perfect,” Christina told E! News. “We wanted an intimate ceremony and so it was just us, Tristyn and our parents on Zoom. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day.”

Wilds added, “We got married, in a way, akin to how we started—just us. Never needed much else. With the addition of our parents and our baby, it really made for a magical moment.”

Their relationship started when they met on set of “The Wire” 15 years ago. “At different times in our lives, we’re shown fairy tales don’t come true. This one came true for me,” said Wilds, while Hammond added, “Our love story is my favorite love story. I am living out my dream of being married to the love of my life.”

The wedding comes a year after the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Tristyn Naomi Wilds. Earlier in the week, the devoted dad shared a photo with his daughter. “i got you, mama… promise you that. 4eva & a day,” he wrote in the caption.
